Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Room photos you upload. Stored alongside the generated visualization so you can come back to it via a share link.
• The visualization image we generate. Stored so your share link keeps working.
• Which catalog items you selected and which brand context you came from. Used for analytics and brand attribution.
• Basic technical metadata (IP address — for rate limiting only; timestamps; generation duration).

What we don't collect

• Your name, email, or phone — unless you give it to us explicitly.
• Behavioral tracking across other sites.
• Anything we don't need to make a visualization work.

Third parties

To run the Service we send your inputs to:

• OpenAI — for the AI image generation step. They process your room photo and the catalog product images to produce the output image. They do not use that content to train their models (per their API data-handling terms).
• Vercel — our hosting provider. Stores images in Vercel Blob, metadata in Vercel Postgres.
• Upstash — used only for rate-limiting counters (your IP + a count). No content stored there.

Retention

Room photos and generated visualizations are deleted 30 days after creation. A daily cron job removes anything older. If you want yours deleted sooner, email hello@wares.live with the share link and we will delete the row and the image files within 72 hours.

Your rights

If you are in a jurisdiction with privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, state US laws) granting you the right to access or delete your data, email us with the share link and we'll honor the request.

Cookies

We do not set tracking cookies. The Service uses standard session-scoped storage only as needed for the visualizer UI.
